Megatrends Asia by John Naisbitt.

Given to me on my 1998 college graduation, this book opened my eyes to the Asia transformation and solidified my excitement for an “Asia-career.”

World History: In Search of Southeast Asia: A Modern History by Chandler et. al.

This is a great Southeast Asia primer to understanding the region.

Finance & Entrepreneurship Books: Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

I believe this is one of the best books in a sea of the financial self-help industry—it’s highly recommended must read. Robert conveys the idea that to get rich, one must invest in assets (things that put money into one’s pocket) and get away from trading in one’s time for money.

Finance & Entrepreneurship Books: The Millionaire Fastlane and Unscripted by MJ Demarco

MJ is a brash, screw-the-world-type author who tells it like it is for aspiring entrepreneurs. His straight-talking advice is a great kick-in-the-butt motivator to stop living in the ‘slow lane’ and to get into the ‘fast-lane,’ ASAP.

Finance & Entrepreneurship Books: Slight Edge by Jeff Olson

The book’s premise is that the small, everyday habits —- the process—is the most important in one’s road to success. Whether is means working out every single day, turning down that pastry, or decling that extra glass of beer, these are are the crucial factors that will make or break your success.

Digital Nomad and Location Independent Resources:

Johnny is one my greatest influencers, a guy who went to zero income to a pretty high earnings in a short period of time. As the face of the digital nomad movement, Johnny documents his successes so people like me can mimic what works for him. I am thankful for Johnny’s transparency and am grateful for how much value he puts out there. If you are considering a move abroad and wish to make money online, then his two books are worth the read: 12 Weeks in Thailand and Life Changes Quick.

How to Drop Ship and Earn Passive Income:

Arguably the best program to get one into making money selling physical goods online, I am grateful for Anton Kraly for providing this step-by-step process. Of course, you still have to do the work but having this blueprint is much easier than spending thousands of dollars and years of work with nothing to show, as I experienced. I’ve been a big fan of DSL and attended the 2017 Mexico and 2018 Bali retreats where I met Anton.

How to Drop Ship and Earn Passive Income: Johnny FD’s Income Boss program.

There might be more sophisticated programs out there, but I’ve been a big fan of Johnny’s and support his endeavors; also, Johnny does a good job of outlining the steps you need to be successful at affiliate marketing —how to monetize your website—so you don’t waste time trying to piece together the information yourself.
